If you're flying in and landing at Victoria Airport (YVR), here's how to get to your destination:
Starting Your Journey
Head north up Pat Bay Highway #17 until you reach the McKenzie Intersection.
Take the Exit
Use the #7 off-ramp to McKenzie West toward the Nanaimo/Sooke exit. Turn right when you reach Highway #1.
Continue to Langford
Keep going until you see the Langford/Sooke/Hwy#14 cut-off.
Turn Onto Hwy #14
Follow the signs for Juan de Fuca Hwy/Sooke Road (#14) all the way to Port Renfrew.
Entering Port Renfrew
You'll pass the Pacheedaht Gas Bar (built in November 2017) on the left and the Fire Hall at the intersection as you arrive. You're now on Parkinson Road.
Local Landmarks
Continue past the Ambulatory Building on your right until you see "Tomi's Restaurant" and an Art Gallery on the right. There's an old-fashioned telephone booth under a spotlight at the corner of Parkinson and Baird Road—it works, so bring some change if you want to use it.
Final Turns
At the intersection, turn right onto Baird Road, then immediately turn left into the cottage area.
Almost There
Stay on this road, keep to the right around the corner, passing a green field on your right. When the road curves left, stay to the right.
Arrival
Drive to the end of the cul-de-sac, where you'll see a big boulder and cottage #88. You've made it! A path beside the cottage leads down the hill to Tomi's and the phone booth.
Directions to the beach : From Baird Road, turn left onto Parkinson Road. At the Ambulance Station turn left onto Klannanith St. to Tsonoqua Drive and follow to Queesto Drive to the end. Turn right. Big Fish Lodge is straight ahead. There is limited parking near the park.
